Win or lose, Tom Brady loves his dogs. Great bowls come and go (ten of them!), But Brady’s dogs are always present. They keep him on the ground and offer him companionship away from the bright lights. Tom, his wife, the supermodel activist and author Gisele Bündchen and their two children live with four dogs. And based on their life, which is documented on the couple’s social media, it’s a pretty good life.
First came Lua, a tough brown pit bull mix that Brady Bündchen adopted from her local animal shelter. Lua appeared with Tom in a commercial for UGG Australia a few years ago. Brady, one of the shoe company’s prominent pitch men, runs in his UGGs on the beach and plays with Lua. Lua has been a member of the Brady clan since 2014 and was assisted by another rescue the following year, a Beagle Tom named Scooby. Gisele then decided to have “her own dog” with a small terrier, which she aptly named Fluffy and which was adopted by Wags and Walks, an animal rescue organization based in southern California. When Giselle introduced her new buddy on social media, she wrote, “Thank you @wagsandwalks for all you do and for allowing us to save this little angel. The children are overjoyed with our new family member. Fluffy is pure joy! “
Anyone who has a household with multiple dogs knows that three dogs are a handful, but not a problem for this power couple. So they added a fourth – Onyx, a black pit bull mix that Tom jokes, is really Lua’s dog, or more precisely, her playmate. Could there be more dogs in Tom and Gisele’s future? Gisele expressed the special place the dogs have in their hearts: “I thought that by rescuing them I would help them lead better lives, but today I see that we are the ones who have better lives by they experience their unconditional love every day!
