Old Boy Peanut looks different, but he still accommodates the usual cat chaos

Just look at Peanut!

He’s a handsome tabby cat with a different look. With pinched ears and elongated eyes, Peanut wears an expression of constant astonishment. When asked how her tabby boy came up with such an appearance, Peanut’s mother, Sydney Benham, told Metro.co.uk, “When I adopted him, the shelter said it was a birth deformity.”

But don’t worry about this one-of-a-kind cat because “the vet and the shelter said it doesn’t affect him at all, he just looks funny!”

And while he may not look like other cats, his Instagram and TikTok reveal that he is “an old man who wins the hearts of everyone around him.”

Love at first sight unusual

When Sydney was about to adopt a second cat she went to a Michigan animal shelter and when she saw Peanut she knew they should be together.

“I fell in love instantly and knew I had to take him home,” said Sydney.

Peanut ended up at the shelter with eight other cats after her owner’s death. His eight roommates had already gone to their eternal homes, and Sydney stated that Peanut “was the last to be adopted and I just couldn’t leave him.”

Although Peanut is partially blind and deaf, the eight-year-old tabby is still a healthy boy who loves to rule his home forever. Like other kitties, Sydney reports that Peanut loves making the usual feline chaos.

He asks for food as any self-respecting cat could. “He’ll meow me in the kitchen until I feed him, or just shake his bowl so he knows there’s food in it.”

And like other kittens, he follows his mother everywhere, “especially in the bathroom, he doesn’t like it when I’m in there and he doesn’t”.

When it comes to jumping on the tables, he’s a naughty cat who jumps straight up, but “He’s not going to get down on his own. Refuses.”

Yes, it sounds like a spoiled cat to us!

However, Peanut proves that cats who look different live just as happily and completely as any other cat. Sydney hopes others will see that too.

“Adopting peanut was one of the best decisions of my life. He’s actually the reason I went on living than I didn’t want to. “

What does peanut look like?

Social media followers have pondered what is like Peanut, and the result is comment gold. This has prompted Sydney to post a TikTok with all of the comparisons she has seen about her boy lately. From a rabbit to a Renaissance painting, the suggestions are hilarious! Have fun with Peanut …
