Name and age of the dog: Henry, 11 years
Nicknames: Henry and his hot bikes
Adoption history: Henry, a cute and innocent stray dog who had to fend for himself on a construction site on the streets of Puerto Rico. He had been run over by a car several times; He was alone, stranded, and dying. He found the strength in himself to drag himself to an area where he would be noticed. It took 10 days for someone to rescue him and he was on the verge of death.
His injuries are said to have been nothing more than a death sentence for him; Obviously, Henry wanted and is still trying to live his best life. A broken back and hip meant nothing to our pup! We were fortunate enough to adopt Henry in 2018, and in the fall of 2019 Henry was diagnosed with a mast cell tumor. He was admitted for emergency surgery that resulted in a long operation and an even longer incision. Today he stays cancer free!

Henry learned to love long car rides on the Jersey shore, to cuddle, enjoy scenic views, and meet others. He enjoys peanut butter and plays tug of war with little brother Mac. Henry gives the best kisses!
Henry is amazing in every way. It was by far the best decision we have made to adopt him, take care of him, and give him a loving and safe home. We’re so in love with him, he’s a warrior.
