Kitten that looks like a panda thrives after it’s found in a crate

A kitten that looks like a mini panda is so happy that it will thrive after being found in a crate.

A few weeks ago a kitten with panda-like markings was brought to ADAC Cerdanyola, an animal rescue service in Spain, along with her two brothers. They were approximately 2-3 weeks old, found in a box in deplorable condition, and in dire need of critical care.

Olga, a nurse for newborns and critical kittens, took them in immediately. “The box was wet and dirty and we don’t know how long it was there before it was found,” Olga told Love Meow.

Despite all efforts to save them all, little panda kitten Marie was the only survivor. She stayed there with all her might and was brought back to life with careful care.

Marie became very loving when she perked up. She clung to her foster mother while feeding and insisted on having an extended cuddle session after each meal. She was so pleased when she was cuddled.

The kitten was born with adorable markings that resemble those of a panda. She wears a couple of cute black spots around her ears and wears the perfect long-sleeved jacket as a coat.

As a singleton, Marie was extremely in need of attention and eager for a constant companion. When she figured out how to use her legs, she looked for a friend.

She went around her playpen looking for playmates. Olga knew how much she would benefit from having another caregiver her size and had a plan for her.

At the time, Olga was bottle-feeding an orphan tabby (Kazumi) and had just brought home another singleton (Kiara) who also needed a buddy.

As soon as she was able to sort out Marie’s stomach problems, a proper meet-and-greet for the kittens was in order.

A week later, Marie finally got a clean health certificate and was ready to meet Kiara. The two hit it off quickly and began to play and even share a round with each other. Marie would watch Kiara show her how to play like a cat.

They got along so well, as if they had always been siblings.

“She was really sad after her brothers died until Kiara arrived. A little later, my other foster Kazumi also entered the nursing room, so Marie had two new sisters,” said Olga Love Meow.

Marie shared her favorite blanket with Kazumi and fell asleep right next to her.

The panda kitten thrives with other keepers. While Kiara and Kazumi begin to run and climb and make good use of their legs, Marie enjoys being that laid-back little sister who always lounges around in her comfy nest.

Marie is at peace, knowing that she will never be alone, and takes a nap without worrying about the world. “She is the calmest kitten I have ever looked after. She is extremely easy-going,” added Olga.

“Marie is so cuddly. She loves to roll over on her back and cuddle with the other foster kittens. You will pretty much always find her buried in soft blankets,” Olga told Love Meow.

“She’s not your typical wild kitten. She would rather watch the other kittens from the comfort of your lap.”

The Panda Kitty loves her VIP life as a pampered house cat. She is far from being a critical kitten and being a healthy, happy cuddle bug.

“Those who adopt her will be very happy. She is the cutest kitten ever.”
