A small kitten was found in a back yard with no mother in sight. Her sister was spotted some distance away. They had been left cold and for hours. One cat after another (Un Chat à la fois), a volunteer rescue organization in Quebec, Canada, learned of their plight and stepped forward to help.

“The kittens (Juno and Jupiter) came to us in a shoebox when they were only a few hours old. Juno (the tabby) was very cold and almost didn’t move. I didn’t think she would make it, but we did had to fight to save her, “said Marie Simard of one cat at a time to Love Meow.

Marie put the kittens in an incubator with lots of blankets and lots of warmth. After a while, their temperatures returned to normal. Juno, the more fragile of the two, weighed only 79 grams, but she held onto it with all her strength.

“As soon as I started feeding her, she held onto the bottle tightly. She tried so hard to put on weight and gain strength,” shared Marie Love Meow.

“At some point she got sick and was taken to the ambulance. Just when I thought we might lose her, she struggled, took medication and just kept eating.”

The brave little tabby was determined to prosper. She overcame one hurdle after another, caught up with her sister, and became strong and courageous.

At four weeks old, she dared to challenge the big, scary vacuum and show older cats who was the boss in the house.

Juno quickly found her inner ass and discovered her favorite pastime – cuddling with a warm body.

After being nursed back to health, the tabby and her sister moved to their nursing home to continue socialization. It didn’t take long for the little cuddly bug to nestle in the arms of her foster parents.

“She is so cozy that it is unreal,” said Meggie, foster mother, to Love Meow. “She cuddles very close to her sister and Zelda (our house cat). She also likes my boyfriend very much and always wants to sleep in his arms.”

Juno climbed up on Foster Dad’s shoulders for an intense cuddle.

Since stepping into her nursing home, she’s been a full-time cuddler who has always gotten used to someone in the house. “She purrs all the time and will rub you until you stroke her.”

Juno joined a cuddle puddle with members of her foster family and immediately fell asleep.

“She likes to cuddle as close to your face as possible. She will also lay on top of me while I work from home,” Meggie shared with Love Meow.

The cat in need likes to be the center of attention and makes sure that it is never alone. If there is an empty lap in the house, it will surely fill it up and keep it warm.
