Kitten found by residents who heard their meow during the downpour has a lot to say now

A tiny kitten was found in the middle of a downpour by residents who heard their screams. Her loud meowing saved her life!

Late last month, residents of a North Carolina apartment complex heard what sounded like a kitten as they passed an air conditioner. Upon examination, they discovered a pint-sized tuxedo that was screaming loudly and asking for help.

A mother cat was nowhere to be found, and the kitten was alone and had been crying for some time. Murphy’s Law Animal Rescue (in Greensboro, NC) was contacted and asked for help immediately.

The cute kitten had a lot to say, meowing and trilling as she drove to the rescue. She was determined to let everyone around her hear her voice.

“We knew immediately that she was destined to have ‘Princess’ on her name as she kept meowing, giving orders and demanding so much attention and affection,” said Sarah Kelly, founder of Murphys Law Animal Rescue, towards Love Miau.

“We named her after a peep, the Easter marshmallow candy that is soft and mushy (just like her). Princess Peep made the perfect name.”

The kitten started talking as soon as it got to her nursing room. She didn’t hesitate to inquire every time she spotted someone nearby.

Princess Peep was brave and full of kattitude from the start, even though she was only the size of a palm tree. It took a few days before she was convinced to accept the bottle, but when she did, she ate to her heart’s content and quickly got a healthy, chonky belly.

“Drinking her bottle and then turning around and wiggling on her back to rub her stomach has become her favorite thing,” shared Sarah Love Meow.

“When we put her in her playpen, she will meow again and march around confidently and happily to survey her kingdom.”

Princess Peep firmly believes that she will never be alone again. She has found that her people will meet all of her needs if desired and has actively used her voice to get what she wants.

“She’s also very interested in giving face kisses! She loves snuggling into our necks and faces,” added Sarah.

Fortunately, she will soon be introduced to other cat friends with whom she can let off steam and cuddle. A litter of four kittens (Oscar, Toni, Emmy and Grammy) came to the rescue a few days before Princess Peep.

They were found out in a pile of isolation a few towns down the road. It just so happens that they are all tuxedos and about a week younger than the little princess.

“She is in the middle of her two-week quarantine period. We can’t wait for her to finally have a small family! She will be the best, most bossy big sister!”

The tuxedo girl is now refining her gait and learning to climb while talking about a storm. She has lots of fluffy blankets and a cozy bed, her cat lock to curl up in, but as soon as Sarah walks in, she comes waddling.

The little kitten loves her tiny furniture and an assortment of toys to play with. She thrives in caring and gets bigger and stronger every day.

Princess Peep is so lucky to have a loving foster family to look after her and her personality shows through.

“Murphy’s Law Animal Rescue is named for the way so much went wrong for these animals until they are rescued! Then we will work to save their lives and find them at home forever for them to give the second chance they deserve and deserve. ” Redefine Murphy’s Law and give it a silver lining, “shared Sarah Love Meow.

“Murphy was also the name of one of the very first kittens we fostered when we moved to Greensboro, NC, and became in large part part of why we fell in love with the challenge.”
